Pep talk

Okay, this snippet from the official NaNo pep talk kindof hits home: "Main characters turn out to have all the zest of a cardboard box abandoned in the rain." I know Peter needs more of a personality, especially in the beginning. Hell, I don't even know what he looks like yet! (And neither do you, so don't go getting any funny ideas.)
