Progress so far this week

I'm up to 12,689 words today, which puts me a little behind the goal I was shooting for (13,000) but I'm still ahead of the curve (official NaNo goal is 8,335). I don't want to get complacent or anything, but tonight there were more distractions than usual. (Translation: I'm at my girlfriend's house.) I'm about to open up a fairly major section of the story, now that Peter is headed to the hospital where his brother is. Stay tuned.
