Word count: I'm at 32,720 words now. The programmer geek in me wishes I had stopped at 32,767 words instead.
Oops: I totally spaced the "robbing a liquor store" part of the story. Let's just pretend that didn't happen. It doesn't add much to the story as it is anyway. I realized this while sitting on I-25 today, which I was doing for about 4 hours.
